wahhh

Ive been feeling like crap lately, i feel like I'm in this rut and I cant get out of it. The main reason would have to be over the fact that I'm currently not working and all of my attempts to look for a job have turned up with nothing. Its quite frustrating honestly. Especially because my parents have been helping me out and I'm really tired of asking them for money for my phone bill, or gas, because I'm an adult and they shouldn't have to worry about me because I should be having my crap together and stuff and things.

It also sucks not being able to buy anything because you're broke. I seriously went to Marshalls today and tried on a bunch of stuff but didnt buy anything, which was actually kind of fun, you know, playing dress up an all. Yay.

on a lighter note, I opened up a little online store on storenvy called leindiewolf (same as my blog) and you should check it out and maybe buy something as it would help a whole lot.

Here are a few stuff that I have in stock right now

Big Lots appreciation post~

 (L-R) Blush 035, Carnation 025
$2.00 each at Big Lots
I went on a few errand runs with my mom yesterday and ones of our stops was Big Lots, I went to the makeup aisle as per usual and they had a bunch of Revlon lipsticks. I got two and if I had more money I would have gotten more. I got Blush 035, which is sort of like a pink nudeish color, and I also got Carnation 025 which is a blue based pink. They both have a slight sheen to them which I typically wouldn't have gone fore as I like my creme finishes and my mattes but I decided to try them and thought they would be nice for summer. Revlon is my favorite drugstore lipstick brand.

You all should really check out Big Lots makeup section, they dont always have good stuff like this, so you do have to wait like a month or so. They have a lot of drug store makeup for even cheaper prices and even Philosophy makeup for three dollars so its a pretty good deal! Let me know if you guys decided to check Big Lots out!

Ion Color Brights Review & New Hair pt2

Top from Forever 21, Necklace from Charlotte Russe
So if you read my last post (READ IT BEFORE YOU CONTINUE OR DIE!) you might have seen my recent hair dye purchase. I buy a lot of hair dye... A LOT. Mainly because I am always on the hunt for the perfect red. So okay, let talk about this brand! I have had bad expiriences with Ion in the past before when I tried their red in the regular permanent color line, and I hated it and vowed to never use Ion again! So I was pretty specticale about trying the Brilliance Brights line but considering I only had ten dollars on me, and it was the cheapest one I decided to try it and I was actually pleasantly surprised I had more Pros than Cons!

If you did not head my warning and continued to read without reading the previous post, BOOM you're dead... but just to let you know I bought a red dye and an orange dye in an attempt to achieve this.

FYI before I go on, you do require a pre-bleaching before using this dye, I haven't done my roots and the color did not hold at all on there so bleaching is a must! I know! It pains me too!

Pros
  • The color is amazing! I really dont like having bright red florescent hair, I like a more "natural" but bright red. (if that even makes sense) And this is great, I really like how dark the red is yet it is still bright enough where its not considered auburn, the orange on the other hand ended up picking up florescent red on the ends of my hair. My theory is that since the ends of my hair already had orange hues in it, the adding of more orange just made it a bright red orange, not the true orange I hoped for, but it is not the dyes fault, just my failing color theory.
  • The dye gets hard after about ten minutes being in your hair. Which I personally like as I dislike having a wet head for 30 minutes. Its just less messy.
  • The smell is really nice! I cannot describe it as my sense of smell is lacking, but it is very pleasant and doesnt kill you like some dyes tend to do. Even my dad who hates it when I dye my hair because of the smell, commented on how nice this one smelled.
  • ~*~*~DAT PRICE.~*~*~ They are 4.99 a pop! And they contain the same amount as Manic Panic does and Manic Panic is $8.99-10.99 depending on where you buy it, so its awesome for us currently unemployed red heads and all you teens with parents who do not want to break the bank going red, because it does it expensive, trust me!
Cons

  • My only con is the consistency, this dye is super ultra mega THICK! I actually ended up adding a tiny bit of conditioner to it to try and make it more creamy. It was so thick that it was actually a bit hard to apply it with a brush so I ended up just using my hands and massaging it trough. Maybe I just need more practice dealing with this dye, but that was the only unpleasant thing (in my opinion) about it.

So here is my hair, and I really like it. I mean, its not what I planned it but usually takes me about three tries until I get it the way I want. Haaaa, but I actually think that if I put a yellow dye on the ends of my hair, it will actually turn orange! But whatever! Its all trial and error and Ive gotten used to it.

    New Hair pt1

    Hello Everyone!

I scrapped up a bit of money today because my hair was in dire need of a dye. I went to my local Sally's Beauty Supply Store and noticed that all of the "bright" hair dye colors like manic panic, and N' Rage where $2 off with the beauty member card (which I have), I decided to try out a new brand they had recieved called the Ion Color Brilliance Brights. I bought two (red, and orange) and they are only 4.99 each and with the two dollars off they where for 2.99 each, then I also had a 15% off coupon which made my purchase end up as $4.28.

They are ready to use semi-permanent haircolors, so no peroxide are needed with these which is always great and they are of a cream formula dye which is what I tend to find works best.

I have not tried them yet and Im going to go use them a soon as this is published so you all are going to get a good review of the dyes and view of my final hair tomorrow! Eeeep! The suspense!!

I picked up a red dye, and an orange dye as this was the only red dye left in stock. welp. So I decided to try and go for the look below to the right, and to the left is my current hair which has turned into a gross redish brown and pale orangy brown.

Okay! So, I am going to go ahead and do this and I'll show you guys the result and make a post tomorrow!

    eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~

    bye!
