woah,

So I kind of fell of the face of the blogging world for a while... again! Agh! I'm so sorry that I always do this, but I don't know, I just kind of get in the mood to blog, and then sometimes I don't.

So heres a quick run down of what I have been up to on my little hiatus~

I pierced my septum!

My hair is no longer red, it is now black with a turquoise streak!

I started redecorating and painting my room! Its still in progress so expect updates on that!

School started up this past monday and I am taking the following classes
  • Digital Imaging
  • Intro to graphic design
  • Illustration
  • Media Communications

I started working at Payless Shoesource in June and I love it! Its such an awesome company to work with

Thats really it, haha, but oh my gosh now I have a job and I can buy stuff and review it for you and splurge and do hauls, and other shenanigans!
eeeeeeeeeeep~

wahhh

Ive been feeling like crap lately, i feel like I'm in this rut and I cant get out of it. The main reason would have to be over the fact that I'm currently not working and all of my attempts to look for a job have turned up with nothing. Its quite frustrating honestly. Especially because my parents have been helping me out and I'm really tired of asking them for money for my phone bill, or gas, because I'm an adult and they shouldn't have to worry about me because I should be having my crap together and stuff and things.

It also sucks not being able to buy anything because you're broke. I seriously went to Marshalls today and tried on a bunch of stuff but didnt buy anything, which was actually kind of fun, you know, playing dress up an all. Yay.

on a lighter note, I opened up a little online store on storenvy called leindiewolf (same as my blog) and you should check it out and maybe buy something as it would help a whole lot.

Here are a few stuff that I have in stock right now

Big Lots appreciation post~

 (L-R) Blush 035, Carnation 025
$2.00 each at Big Lots
I went on a few errand runs with my mom yesterday and ones of our stops was Big Lots, I went to the makeup aisle as per usual and they had a bunch of Revlon lipsticks. I got two and if I had more money I would have gotten more. I got Blush 035, which is sort of like a pink nudeish color, and I also got Carnation 025 which is a blue based pink. They both have a slight sheen to them which I typically wouldn't have gone fore as I like my creme finishes and my mattes but I decided to try them and thought they would be nice for summer. Revlon is my favorite drugstore lipstick brand.

You all should really check out Big Lots makeup section, they dont always have good stuff like this, so you do have to wait like a month or so. They have a lot of drug store makeup for even cheaper prices and even Philosophy makeup for three dollars so its a pretty good deal! Let me know if you guys decided to check Big Lots out!

Ion Color Brights Review & New Hair pt2

Top from Forever 21, Necklace from Charlotte Russe
So if you read my last post (READ IT BEFORE YOU CONTINUE OR DIE!) you might have seen my recent hair dye purchase. I buy a lot of hair dye... A LOT. Mainly because I am always on the hunt for the perfect red. So okay, let talk about this brand! I have had bad expiriences with Ion in the past before when I tried their red in the regular permanent color line, and I hated it and vowed to never use Ion again! So I was pretty specticale about trying the Brilliance Brights line but considering I only had ten dollars on me, and it was the cheapest one I decided to try it and I was actually pleasantly surprised I had more Pros than Cons!

If you did not head my warning and continued to read without reading the previous post, BOOM you're dead... but just to let you know I bought a red dye and an orange dye in an attempt to achieve this.

FYI before I go on, you do require a pre-bleaching before using this dye, I haven't done my roots and the color did not hold at all on there so bleaching is a must! I know! It pains me too!

Pros
  • The color is amazing! I really dont like having bright red florescent hair, I like a more "natural" but bright red. (if that even makes sense) And this is great, I really like how dark the red is yet it is still bright enough where its not considered auburn, the orange on the other hand ended up picking up florescent red on the ends of my hair. My theory is that since the ends of my hair already had orange hues in it, the adding of more orange just made it a bright red orange, not the true orange I hoped for, but it is not the dyes fault, just my failing color theory.
  • The dye gets hard after about ten minutes being in your hair. Which I personally like as I dislike having a wet head for 30 minutes. Its just less messy.
  • The smell is really nice! I cannot describe it as my sense of smell is lacking, but it is very pleasant and doesnt kill you like some dyes tend to do. Even my dad who hates it when I dye my hair because of the smell, commented on how nice this one smelled.
  • ~*~*~DAT PRICE.~*~*~ They are 4.99 a pop! And they contain the same amount as Manic Panic does and Manic Panic is $8.99-10.99 depending on where you buy it, so its awesome for us currently unemployed red heads and all you teens with parents who do not want to break the bank going red, because it does it expensive, trust me!
Cons

  • My only con is the consistency, this dye is super ultra mega THICK! I actually ended up adding a tiny bit of conditioner to it to try and make it more creamy. It was so thick that it was actually a bit hard to apply it with a brush so I ended up just using my hands and massaging it trough. Maybe I just need more practice dealing with this dye, but that was the only unpleasant thing (in my opinion) about it.

So here is my hair, and I really like it. I mean, its not what I planned it but usually takes me about three tries until I get it the way I want. Haaaa, but I actually think that if I put a yellow dye on the ends of my hair, it will actually turn orange! But whatever! Its all trial and error and Ive gotten used to it.

    New Hair pt1

    Hello Everyone!

I scrapped up a bit of money today because my hair was in dire need of a dye. I went to my local Sally's Beauty Supply Store and noticed that all of the "bright" hair dye colors like manic panic, and N' Rage where $2 off with the beauty member card (which I have), I decided to try out a new brand they had recieved called the Ion Color Brilliance Brights. I bought two (red, and orange) and they are only 4.99 each and with the two dollars off they where for 2.99 each, then I also had a 15% off coupon which made my purchase end up as $4.28.

They are ready to use semi-permanent haircolors, so no peroxide are needed with these which is always great and they are of a cream formula dye which is what I tend to find works best.

I have not tried them yet and Im going to go use them a soon as this is published so you all are going to get a good review of the dyes and view of my final hair tomorrow! Eeeep! The suspense!!

I picked up a red dye, and an orange dye as this was the only red dye left in stock. welp. So I decided to try and go for the look below to the right, and to the left is my current hair which has turned into a gross redish brown and pale orangy brown.

left image me, right image form google
Okay! So, I am going to go ahead and do this and I'll show you guys the result and make a post tomorrow!

    eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~

    bye!

    first try at Decoden!

I went to a dollar store the other day, and stumbled upon a bunch of pretty rhinestones, pearls, and glitter. My initial reaction was juts "Ohhhh preeetttyyyy~" and quickly started to pick and choose which ones I liked. I then came up with the idea to try and make a deco case for my cell phone. It took me approximately four hours, and it was a huge pain the the butt. Never doing it again!

I bought some flat back pearls, hot pink hearts, clear rhinestones, and light baby pink rhinestones. I couldnt find silver glitter to I ended up using about three coats of nail glitter nail polish. In the end I had a huge head ache from all the fumes, and my hands where covered in glue but I have been getting a lot of compliments on it so I guess it was worth it. I ordered another case yesterday to make another one.

    The final result...

    Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Spray

$3-$5 at Drug and Department Stores

This is a review on a product that I have been loving lately for my hair. As you may have noticed, I have bright red hair, and as some of you may know, the best way to achieve this color is to bleach you hair (which I did). So in turn my hair, especially the ends of it, are super dry and damaged. I went out and bought some hair care stuff to try out to try and repair the damaged I causes. I bough various leave in conditioners, deep conditioners, hair masks, and oils. This one if my favorite.

It has three fruit oils (hence the name Triple Nutrition) that are extremely good for your hair! It contains Olive, Avocado, and Shea oils. One thing that is real cool about this is that you can see all three separate oils in the bottle since they all have different densities and don't mix (you cant really tell in the picture because I shook the bottle). I like that it is in a spray type bottle so your hands dont get greasy and icky. What I love the most about it is that even as an oil it doesnt leave your hair greasy, or heavy at all.

You can use it on wet, or dry hair, and what you do is your brush your hair then shake the bottle to have all the oils mix together then spray it evenly throughout your hair although I would concentrate on the ends of my hair which need the most TLC. then comb it trough again making sure it is all distributed trough out my hair and voila! Shiny, smooth healthy looking hair! Im almost done with this bottle so I really need to go out and repurchase one!

What are your favorite hair products? I would love to try some new ones so let me know in the comments!

    Some Cute For Your Friday!

    Meet Loki, our new kitten.

While shopping for the finishing touches last Saturday for our mother's Mothers Day present we saw a lady giving away free kittens on the corner of the parking lot of the shopping center we went to. My younger brother and I paid no attention to it and continued on shopping and trying to find everything we needed as it was last minute. We got everything we needed and when we where about to leave we passed by said lady with free kittens again, my brother insisted we at least stopped to look at them, and my curiosity and love for all things small and fluffy over came me so I made a nasty sharp turn and parked near where the lady was standing.

I asked if we could hold one of the kittens as I held the tiny kitten she began to tell us of how she found this litter of kittens abandoned outside her home, and how she took them in, bottle fed, and cared for the poor babies. She then explained that she decided to try and find homes for the kittens her self instead of taking them to the pound where they would surely be put down. Boy did she pull on my heart strings! I was hmmming and ahhhing about the thought of bringing another cat home, but looking at the poor kittens face I couldn't take it and we decided to take him home (without the consent of our parents mind you).

We ended up naming him Loki, kept him a secret for a day and decided to share the news of the additiong to the family until after we gave my mother her gift. Sneaky, sneaky! And to my surprise my parents love him, which is great considering I thought they where going to freak out. He is happy in his new home and gets lots of cuddles and belly rubs. Simon (my older cat) was not too happy at first but he has been a very good boy and has adjusted quiet well to the new baby, I even caught him grooming Loki which made my heart melt! Eeep! I feel all warm and fluffy inside after typing this! Anyways, happy friday and I hope his little face makes your day!

    My Art Final 2012

Hello readers, after a my usual hiatus of forgetting I have a blog I decided to make it up to you all by showing you the photographs I had to take for my art final. We had to pick a theme or concept and showcase it with ten  photographs. I choose the concept of nature/the indulgance of it and concentrated on color. So here are my ten images.

I got extremely good feedback with the professor going as far as saying that I would get accepted to any art school if I turned these in as a portfolio. A super confidence boost! This was my only final, and it was harder than it looks. How's everyone else finals going?
